قواعد استخدام WhozTag، مكتوبة لتُقرأ.

Draft

These terms are a working draft. They will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch and may change.

Last updated: October 2026

1. The service

WhozTag lets you create touchpoints: a code and QR code that other people can use to message or call you through our relay. We pass messages and calls between you and those people without sharing either side's contact details.

2. Your account

  • You need a valid email address to create an account. Keep access to it secure, since it's how you sign in.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the content of your touchpoints.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use WhozTag to:

  • harass, threaten, defraud or spam anyone;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • send unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights;
  • attack, overload or try to get around the security of the service.

We may block conversations, suspend touchpoints or close accounts that break these rules. Anyone can report abuse from a touchpoint's page.

4. Licenses and payment

  • Listing licenses are one-time purchases that keep a touchpoint active for a fixed period. Extensions add time to an existing listing and keep its code.
  • Doorbell licenses are subscriptions that renew monthly or yearly until you cancel. Cancelling stops renewal and the doorbell keeps working until the end of the paid period.
  • Marking a touchpoint as sold or disabling it does not pause or refund a license.
  • After a listing expires, its code is kept for 30 days so you can extend it. After that it's retired permanently.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which also handles invoices, taxes and refunds under its own terms.

5. Availability

We work hard to keep WhozTag running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or that every message, notification or call will be delivered. Don't rely on it for emergencies.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything the people you're in contact with say or do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

7. Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid time.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
